Mouse wheel. At least, that's how I do it. There might be another way.

It also works on parts you can't move around such as hands, feet and weapons.

I did not know it worked on hands, feet, and weapons =(.....I CAN'T WAIT TO DO MORE NEXT BETA..... expect pictures from me in the future.

Hmm that's weird...
When I equip my Hero's with highest leveled equips , there levels go pretty high, but when I equip them looking ad the stats going as high as they can there levels are lower =S

You need to buy more Hero genetic upgrades.

I bought upgrades as often as possible, I figured the hero genetic upgrades were more important than getting another squad slot and the engine upgrades for the Beta period anyway. With the limited help available it has been kind of a guessing game as far as what is best to do as far as upgrades. Trial and error led me to upgrade differently in week two than in week one.
MaxisMaverick, Do you know if our accounts are going to be reset again next week? I wish I took screen shots of my other two heroes, especially if they will be gone next Beta session.

I knew I should have taken a picture of the Blitz-α I had while I had the chance. Now I most likely will have to start over, although it will not be hard redoing it again.

The Genetic Upgrades raise the stat caps on your heroes. If you have a stat that is easily capping, then instead of using an item that boosts that stat, boost something like dodge, resist, and crit.

Very interesting. Did anyone else notice that at the top of the picture, where it normally shows Hero level, it shows something it's called "GS"? Now... maybe that just means "Gear Score", and it's an older picture from an early build. But I can't help but wonder if it means something else, maybe "Gamer Score" or something, maybe even something to do with PvP?

So, what is it, Maverick? What does GS mean?

I find this is true too, because as you get higher level gear, there is more "crap" on it. I.e. mid-low level gear will often just have health+stat. Higher-level gear tends to have item quality thrown into more categories, with more dubious value -- projectile speed, attack range, pet damage, pet health, etc... it's hard to find very high stat values on them

Since I find the core stats to be some of the most valuable stats overall, I often find myself equipping out my hero in lower level gear.

Not that this discussion has anything to do with how great my heroes looked, but I just felt I should chime in

So, are we allowed to post these things out and about or is the NDA still frowning on that..?

GS used to stand for Gear Score, but no one understood what it meant, so it now says hero level instead.
