Yes, I know about horde traps, I need to specify more >.>. I would say that the corruptor is either. For weaker players, your only choice tends to be taking out the portals to prevent enemies from swarming you. In the end, it's down to your heroes and playstyle really.

While going through a level normally, you shouldn't be getting surrounded like that, unless that is your plan in the first place, my Viper for example.

Even when in a horde, you would need almost constant healing for it to make much of a difference. It also means the hero doing healing isn't attacking very much. While you can start the healing and then cancel it and the buff will remain for all 4 seconds, for some reason, it seems to take at least a second to be able to cancel reconstruct. In the end, you're using all of that power, just to give 4 seconds of -25% damage and a single tick of healing if you're doing this.

One thing of note though, is that it's one of the small few of offense items which have +health.

I have noticed that some of the new offense items even have power or health leech.

Is this unique to these specific items, or can any dropped offense item potentially have leech now?

The Ability Modifier items are custom-built (at least at the yellow level, though of course anything above that adds further random mods), so I imagine its specific to those particular items. Are those items on heroes who usually don't have hands (like Char), by chance? Maybe they're responding to common complaints about handless heroes by giving their ability modifier loot Leech instead.

The Tork nerf sucks big time. I doubt he'll see much use in anybody's squad since his damage is pretty low and his other signature ability is really situational. (read: hardly used)

He needs to be able to heal on demand like before, but obviously not as much. Relying on an enemy to debuff you to heal is a horrible mechanic.

There have been many MANY topics on that, Aqualisk. I think it is for the better now because it encourages people to discover the other healers. I have constructed a squad 10 times better than I had with Tork.

well, i havent played Darkspore in a while, but now i have to start again. i just hope pvp isnt still dead, to hard to find games. Lack of tork will make pvp alot more interesting, and the new level will make me play campaign again.

as if people create 3 torks for their 3 squads.....lol. if you got a member in your party that can heal you.....then you can choose a squad that don't have tork at all and be a tanker or deals tons of damage from range.....(srs is one)
