Armored Elites "Immune" to Tork's Toxic Spores

I recently activated Tork Alpha, and while playing him on 8-1, I noticed that Elite enemies with the 'Armored' affix are Immune to damage from his Toxic Spores basic attack.

I know this, because when I attack them with it, they receive the debuff but the word "Immune" flies-up from them in yellow letters every time it should be dealing damage.

According to this, the 'Armored' affix should just make them take less damage from each attack.

The 'Armored' affix is designed to be DoT resistant. "immune" doesn't always mean 100% resistant. Most of the time it means 80% or more resistant. So, you are probably doing some damage, just not much.

This is not a bug. You will need to use something other than a DoT attack to do significant damage to elites with the "Armored" affix.
