Refresh-Happy Client?

Hello.

I have been having problems with Darkspore. Every time I try to log my retail key into the client, the page just keeps refreshing.

(Keep in mind that I do live in the USA.)

I have tried to reinstall Darkspore. I have also tried to input the code using UPPERCASE, UPPERCASE-WITH-DASHES, lowercase, and lower-case-with-dashes, but the code still won't register and the client keeps refreshing. And yes, I have also tried disabling my firewall and anti-virus, but none of these methods proved successful.

Forgive me if there has already been a thread with a solution to this problem. If there is such a thing, please link me to it.

Thank you for your time, and I hope you can help me. I am desperate to play Darkspore, expessially since I was not able to participate using the Beta version. Plus.. I really hope this wasn't a waste of my money.

Just to verify, you're entering the Digital Rights key that you recieved?

Same issue here. Tried troubleshooting in every way I could possibly think of and I'm of the belief it's out of my hands now.

P.S. not a region issue as I live in the US.

I recieved my key from EA's email that was a notice that my (preordered) copy of the game was ready for installation, MaxisKiwiboat.

i as well am having the same issue, i preordered through ea, and i received the email with all the information and the key is not working, i also tried upper case, lower case etc. I input my code at least 6 times

Im having the EXACT same problem and have done the SAME troubleshooting as everyone else. Only difference is I got from D2D

Same EXACT issue here, i have done various methods of trying to fix it. I got my game from Steam. This is becoming quite the issue and am wondering if it is just the cdkey or is it a server side problem.

Having identical problem, have a physical copy, with what I'm assuming is the retail key on a piece of paper (while the paper calls it the "Registration Code"). The code is printed in all caps. Have read in the forum to type it in with lowercase letters.

I have the pre-ordered Limited Edition version, bought and attempted to be played in USA.

The problem here isn't the keys, it's the in-game cd-key authenticator. If you try the EA download manager it will recognize the cd keys. For whatever reason though the in-game cd-key authenticator just keeps refreshing no matter what is put in.

I concur with Traitorr, EADM did recognize the key.

If you are having this problem, try logging into http://darkspore.com, then redeeming your key at http://darkspore.com/product
