Is tork still not able to heal w/o conditions and other such nonsense? Kinda killed the game for me just curious. Put alot of hours into the game really liked ..until that patch.

Many people lived with the change, accepted that nigh-immortality was nothing but cheese. If you poke around you'll find how people play these days with other heal based squad abilities, or sometimes none at all.

It nearly doubled the difficulty, but people recovered. It would have been nice on the 18-x threat levels, but I think it was a good change now, because we have really strong tactics that wouldn't be strong if it was the same.

I still think it would be best to, say, halve the healing but keep it the way it was, but it was Maxis' choice.
